Admission
Students are requested to send, in addition to the completed and signed application form and the other documents:
* an audition cd with three pieces, which includes at least one original composition
* a short résumé of preliminary education and experience in the field of pop music
* a letter in which the student states his/her reasons for wanting to enrol on the course
These documents have to be sent in before March 15.
Candidates will be selected beforehand on the basis of the recording submitted. If the candidate's playing on the recording does not match the required level, the candidate will not be invited to take the entrance examination. Students who are invited to take the examination must pass a practical aural skills exam and perform three pieces, of which at least one is an original composition. Candidates should bring their own accompaniment or accompany themselves.
During the practical aural skills exam students are required to react to chords, to sing intervals, to clap rhythms, to set words to music and to improvise to chords.
