Young Talents
The Sweelinck Academy and the Junior Jazz College are intended for musicians who exhibit exceptional talent at an early, or very early, age (up to 18 years of age) and who would benefit from training at the conservatory level.
Admissions
All candidates must pass an entrance examination to be accepted to the Sweelinck Academy or the Junior Jazz College. The preparatory course does not constitute a degree programme at the higher professional education level (hbo-opleiding), but rather a course. Students enrolled on the preparatory course are therefore not eligible for financial assistance.
